The Hurstbridge Wattle Festival is a significant cultural event for Melburnians that has its roots firmly planted in their early rail history.

It's a joyous celebration of their heritage, environment and community.  Festival goers view the wattles in a blaze of glory along the Diamond Creek as they approach the township of Hurstbridge.

Stroll the main street and enjoy the fabulous and extensive array of entertainment, events and activities for all the family.  Some include:

•              Steam train rides between Hurstbridge and Eltham

•              Free double-decker bus ride

•              Treasure hunt

•              Roving entertainment

•              Market stalls and night market
